Movie Plot

At elementary school, Shouya and the rest of his class bully the transfer student, Shouko Nishimiya, for being deaf. After Shouko’s mother notifies the school, Shouya is the only one blamed for the bullying done to Shouko. As a result of his blaming, the class start bullying him even after Shouko transfers out of the school, making his life a living nightmare.

Shouya Ishida, as a teenager, will start seeking redemption for his actions as a kid, and will try at all costs to apologize to Shouko.
